Chapter 223: Guidance from the Letter

Chapter 223: Guidance from the Letter

Lin Feng tightly grasped the letter given by the shadow, his eyes filled with anticipation and vigilance. Wang Meng came over and asked impatiently, "Lin Feng, what's in the letter? Read it to us quickly."

Lin Feng took a deep breath, slowly unfolded the letter, and read softly: "Along the valley stream, through the misty forest, in the ancient ruins, there are hidden dark secrets and hopes."

Zhao Xue frowned and said worriedly, "This sounds like another difficult journey. I wonder how many dangers await us."

Li San waved the magic wand in his hand and said firmly, "But this is also our chance to get closer to the truth. We can't miss it no matter what."

Ling'er nodded gently, her eyes showing determination: "Don't worry, everyone. As long as we unite as one, we will be able to overcome the difficulties."

After a short rest, everyone continued along the stream in the valley. The stream gurgled, and the surrounding fog became thicker, making people feel as if they were in a fantasy world.

"The fog is too thick, don't get separated." Lin Feng reminded everyone.

"Don't worry, I will follow closely." Wang Meng responded loudly.

As they walked, they suddenly heard a low roar coming from the fog.

"Oh no, something's happening!" Zhao Xue drew her sword and looked around vigilantly.

A huge monster rushed out from the fog, with its fangs and claws bared and looking very aggressive.

"Watch me!" Wang Meng was not afraid at all and rushed forward waving his battle axe.

The monster swung its claws violently, and Wang Meng was knocked back a few steps.

"Wang Meng, be careful!" Ling'er exclaimed.

Lin Feng quickly joined the battle and engaged in a fierce fight with the monster. His sword slashed across the monster's body, splashing sparks.

"This guy is so thick-skinned!" Lin Feng said, panting.

Li San continued to cast magic on the side, trying to weaken the power of the monster. "Let my magic help you!"

Zhao Xue seized the opportunity and stabbed the monster's eye with her sword. The monster roared in pain and attacked everyone even more frantically.

"Everyone, work harder, it can't hold on any longer!" Lin Feng shouted.

After a hard fight, the monster finally fell to the ground.

"Huh, it's finally solved." Wang Meng sat down on the ground, gasping for breath.

The crowd continued to move forward and finally walked out of the foggy forest.

An ancient relic appeared before my eyes. The gate of the relic was closed and a mysterious atmosphere filled the air.

"Is this the place mentioned in the letter?" Ling'er asked.

Lin Feng walked forward and observed the gate carefully: "It should be here, everyone be careful."

They pushed open the door carefully, and a stale smell hit them.

"It feels eerie in here." Wang Meng muttered.

Zhao Xue said, "Be careful, there might be some traps."

The crowd slowly walked into the ruins, where the light was dim and the walls were engraved with strange patterns and symbols.

"These patterns seem to be hiding some information." Li San said.

At this moment, the ground suddenly began to shake and countless sharp arrows shot out from the wall.

"Be careful!" Lin Feng shouted loudly.

Everyone dodged the sharp arrows and the scene was in chaos.

"This place is too dangerous!" Wang Meng shouted.

"Don't panic, we will definitely find a way out." Lin Feng encouraged everyone.

They carefully groped their way through the ruins, searching for the secrets of the dark power according to the instructions in the letter.

Suddenly, a huge secret room appeared in front of them.

"Is this the place we are looking for?" Ling'er asked.

Lin Feng pushed open the door and saw an ancient scroll inside.

"Maybe the answer lies in this book." Zhao Xue said.

Just as Lin Feng was about to pick up the scroll, a mysterious voice rang out: "If you want to get the truth, you must pass the final test..."
