Lin Yue's expression didn't change at all. She smiled faintly and said calmly, "Rumors are just rumors after all. Real results are the best counterattack. I always believe that facts will prove everything."

These words were both calm and powerful, prompting frequent nods from the audience. However, upon hearing them, Li Hao felt a surge of mixed emotions. He knew how much hardship lay hidden behind Lin Yue's calm demeanor, and much of this hardship was caused by him.

After the dinner, Lin Yue was about to leave the venue when Li Hao suddenly caught up with him.

"Lin Yue." There was a hint of urgency in his voice. "Please wait a moment."

Lin Yue stopped and turned to look at him, with a hint of wariness in her eyes: "Mr. Li, is there anything else?"

Li Hao whispered, "I know you don't want to hear my explanation anymore, but I have to tell you that I've been working hard to dispel those rumors. I know my efforts may be futile, but I don't want you to face those injustices alone."
