Chapter 27 Planning and Trial
Chapter 27 Planning and Trial
Ronan felt that the most crucial point was that he actually gained greater benefits from this, provided that he did indeed cause trouble for the Bureau of Anomalies and dealt a heavy blow to the Travelers.
He continued scrolling through the posts below.
Has anyone visited this website? I've seen explanations of the "Painting Behind the Back" ghost story before; it's just about being able to kill someone from behind. What's so special about that?
[It must have evolved. Think about it, if evil citizens came and made it go berserk, what reason would there be for it not to get stronger?]
What I'm really more concerned about is whether anyone has logged onto this website. I tried logging in, and it's ridiculous. It says that as long as you upload your facial features, you can gain the power to judge others, but when I clicked on it, it didn't work. It said I had to wait until midnight. Has anyone else experienced this?
[Same here, this is truly outrageous. Who would believe this? I certainly don't. How could someone possibly gain the so-called power to judge others out of thin air? I've never believed that just a ghost story could grant someone the power to judge others.]
Ronan kept watching until all 100,000 floors were turned upside down, and he discovered that there were still talented people in this world.
At least Ronan found it quite pleasing to watch.
The Ghost Story Project is not over yet and is currently in the settlement process. Ronan is waiting for nightfall, really wanting to see just how many people can be chosen by Onali with her abilities.
Tonight, Ronan also plans to go to that grave to conduct some further tests.
After all, he still had many doubts in his mind, and it would be a good thing if he could find some clues from them.
……
After school.
Moon District Pure Water High School.
Charlie walked up to his shoe cabinet with his schoolbag on his back, and suddenly his body trembled.
He was filled with fear, or more accurately, Charlie didn't know how to deal with what was about to happen.
Every time this happens, I just try to appease everyone by pretending nothing has happened.
Charlie clenched his fist, then let it limply open. Yes, he really was that useless.
He went to the shoe cabinet, opened it, and found it stuffed with trash. Everyone around him was looking at him with disgust. He was furious, but he silently cleaned it up because he knew that what happened next was the real show.
He walked out of the school gate, and sure enough, in the shadows, stood a nonchalant-looking man with dyed blond hair, watching Charlie.
Jacks spotted Charlie immediately, came over, and pulled Charlie into a tight embrace, his expression one of contempt and mockery.
"Charlie, isn't it your turn to treat me to five hundred federal dollars for dinner now...?"
Charlie didn't want to be a coward, so he angrily raised his hand, but then lowered it.
"Brother Jack, didn't we just treat you to a meal yesterday? Are you sure you haven't got the time wrong...?"
Jacks looked at Charlie and extended his fist.
"I told you, if you invite me, here, I'm the boss. At Pure Water High School in the Moon District, apart from fellow travelers, no one else can bully or manipulate me!"
Jacks ripped Charlie's clothes off and punched Charlie in the face.
"So, are you going to treat me to 500 Federal Dollars for dinner today...?"
Charlie handed all the money in his pocket to Jacks, who counted it before leaving satisfied.
Charlie finally felt relieved; only now did he feel like he was truly alive.
His mother was waiting for him at home, and he needed to hurry back.
Charlie held his phone, unsure what to scroll through. Surprisingly, some of the passersby were still talking about the O'Neill Photo Studio.
This matter has been all over the news since this morning.
Charlie finally became curious. He knew that if he wanted to learn more about ghost stories, he had to go to the ghost story forum, where some incredibly ruthless people often appeared, as well as many strange occurrences. The official authorities would not block it.
At that moment, Charlie saw the post that was ranked number one.
[First-person perspective of the O'Neill Photo Studio incident]

Visit this website for a surprise!
The image almost made him vomit, and the content, which was even worse than what he had experienced, made him even more nauseous.
He logged onto the website as an experiment.
We arrived at a scarlet screen.
Simple and bright, fill in the blank.
At the very top, the red title reads "The Painting Behind".
Enter the field.
Do you have the resolve to judge others?
[Enter your complete facial video and submit it; you will become the judge of others!]
Charlie hesitated for a moment, then closed the interface. He never believed in these things; ghost stories were inherently evil, how could they possibly help a citizen like him from Hellow?
While Charlie was still thinking, he was suddenly pushed. It turned out to be Jacks and his companions. Yuan Kai and his group had been following Charlie.
Charlie, however, did not notice.
Charlie was horrified to see Jacks arrive at his house.
Jacks joked a bit.
"I never imagined you would actually bring us to your home..."
Charlie was heartbroken, and he took out all his money.
"We'll give you all the money, please go somewhere else..."
Jacks' smile was enigmatic.
"I'm coming to your house as a guest, what are you going to do about it...?"
Charlie clenched his fist, then relaxed it.
"Please come in..."
Jacks said:
"Go back to your room..."
Charlie was filled with resentment.
He went back to his room.
A familiar voice came from downstairs.
"Auntie, we are Charlie's friends. He invited us to his home today..."
Charlie sat on the bed, clutching the sheets tightly in his hands.
His mother smiled gently.
"So these are Charlie's friends. Is he a bit withdrawn at school? This is the first time he's brought his friends home..."
"Charlie got shy again and went upstairs. Please don't mind. I'll call him down when we eat..."
Jacks naturally agreed.
"It's too much trouble for you to eat here, and I'd really appreciate it..."
Charlie's mother said:
"It's nothing, it's nothing, as long as you're happy..."
My mother went to cook.
Charlie, in a fit of impotent rage, angrily opened the door, only to find Jacks holding a towel, heading towards his mother who was cooking.
Charlie said:
"What are you doing!"
Jacks glared at Charlie, who had ruined his plans, and pretended to put the tissue back.
"I saw that the aunt looked so tired, so I wanted to hand her a towel to wipe her sweat..."
Now, Charlie's mother also felt that Charlie had been somewhat impolite.
She smiled elegantly.
"Okay, wait until I finish cooking..."
Charlie saw Jacks and his group off from outside the door.
Before leaving, Jacks spat on the ground.
"You're going to ruin my plans, just you wait. Anyway, I already know your address..."
Charlie had been working at his desk for hours, and it was almost midnight.
Anger ignited in Charlie's chest.
Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!
He clicked on that website as if possessed.
