Chapter 107 Little Sister Sui Sui
Chapter 107 Little Sister Sui Sui
When Shi Sui left the classroom with Teacher Zhang, she felt someone was following her.
She was only focused on discussing the problems with Teacher Zhang, so she couldn't turn back to look for the person who was following her. However, the strange feeling of being followed disappeared after a short while.
She thought the stalking was just an illusion.
Unexpectedly, the person who was following her went to the lounge halfway.
She then retraced her steps and was pulled into the lounge as she passed by.
The boy's tall figure suddenly loomed over her, one hand braced against her ear as if to cover her. Shi Sui's back was pressed against the corner of the door frame, with nowhere to retreat, and the faint woody incense from his body filled her nostrils.
She asked, and it turned out to be the smell of the deodorant spray (perfume) he used after smoking.
Shi Sui looked up at him, speechless, and said, "Chen Xun, are you some kind of perverted stalker?"
Her extremely long eyelashes obscured the bottom of her eyes. Pei Shuoxun met her gaze from above and chuckled softly, "Yes, little sister Sui Sui."
Her ears were ringing from the sound, and Shi Sui got goosebumps: "Sister my foot."
Pei Shuoxun tilted his head closer, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Didn't you say you wanted to be my sister?"
He was too close, his breath lingering in her ear, making her feel hot: "Move away from me, you're burning up."
She was about to push him away.
But Pei Shuoxun spoke first, saying, "Don't push me away."
Whatever.
Shi Sui reached out to push him, but Pei Shuoxun raised his bandaged arm to block it, saying pitifully, "Look, I got hurt because of you."
The words "I'll get hurt for you" really worked. Shi Sui's heart softened, and her hands went limp. She put her hands in her pockets, leaned against the door frame, and asked him, "What do you want?"
Pei Shuoxun stared at her quietly for two seconds, then asked, "Did Chi Yan ask for your deskmate?"
"Mm," Shi Sui replied calmly.
Pei Shuoxun couldn't discern her emotions from her expression, and frowned slightly: "He has ill intentions towards you."
"What do you mean by 'ill-intentioned'?" Shi Sui frowned and told him, "Chi Yan told me this morning that he just considers me a friend. His confession before was just an impulse. Now that he has reflected on it, he realized that he doesn't have those feelings for me. We're just friends."
Actually, Chi Yan said "we are friends" this morning, and the rest was just Shi Sui's expansion.
Pei Shuoxun scoffed coldly after hearing this.
Shi Sui: "What are you 'heh'ing about?"
"It's nothing, I just think you're easy to fool."
“…You’re the one who’s easy to fool, get lost.” Shi Sui rolled her eyes at him and said, “If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving.”
"Something's wrong, little sister Sui Sui."
Shi Sui got goosebumps again: "It's disgusting. Why does it sound so disgusting to me when you call me 'little sister'?"
"Oh, really?" Pei Shuoxun said innocently, "Didn't you treat me like an older brother? Now you don't want to be my sister anymore?"
"I don't want to think about it anymore." Shi Sui said expressionlessly.
"Oh? So what do you want to regard me as now?"
Shi Sui sighed: "If you hadn't injured your arm because of me, I would have treated you like a stranger."
"..." He shouldn't have asked that question.
Pei Shuoxun bent down slightly, leaned close to her ear, and sighed as well: "Sui Sui, what about our years of friendship? You are so heartless."
Shi Sui turned her head away and said coldly, "Oh, right. Considering our feelings, I'll take you as my little brother. Also, don't call me Sui Sui anymore, it's disgusting."
Among his brother, the passerby, and his younger brother, Pei Shuoxun could only helplessly choose: "Okay, little sister Sui Sui."
Disgusted once again, Shi Sui said, "...Goodbye."
She turned to open the door, but someone with a much longer arm reached out and locked the door.
The tall young man stretched out his arms and easily trapped her beneath him. His broad chest suddenly pressed against her back, and with a bend of his arm, he encircled her from behind.
Shi Sui: ?!
She looked down and saw the bandaged arm that had appeared below her chest, and felt that pushing him away would be somewhat heartless.
Shi Sui could only ask, "What are you doing?"
Pei Shuoxun, whose arm injury had long since healed and was only wrapped in gauze for show, buried his head in her neck and mumbled, "It's normal for a brother to hug his sister, isn't it?"
Shi Sui paused for a moment and asked, "Are you very sad? Otherwise, why are you hugging me?"
"Hmm?" Pei Shuoxun was not sad at all; on the contrary, he felt extremely happy.
"You ranked third in the exam," Shi Sui said earnestly. "You used to always be first in the grade. Are you sad that you didn't get first place here?"
Pei Shuoxun understood her thought process.
"Yes, I'm so sad, so very sad." He said sadly, "Can I hug Sui Sui a little longer?"
Shi Sui was kind for five seconds, but she couldn't stand it anymore and angrily said, "Chen Xun, stop rubbing my neck, it's so itchy, you know that!"
She forcefully pried his hands off, kicked open the lounge door, and ran away.
Pei Shuoxun watched her fleeing figure, a slight smile playing on his lips, and murmured in a clearly frivolous tone, "Too sensitive, isn't she? Can't even handle a brush against your neck?"
"I haven't even congratulated you on getting seventh place in the grade yet. When did you become so studious?"
*
After running a short distance and confirming that Pei Shuoxun was not chasing her, Shi Sui loosened the rubber band as she walked and retied her hair.
He's hugging me, fine, but why is he moving around? It's so annoying, he's messed up my hair.
She reflected on it again and felt that she should have let Pei Shuoxun do her hair; it was such a failure of her to just run away like that.
Back in the teaching building, there were more students in the corridor. Shi Sui took the elevator to the fifth floor and was walking towards the classroom when she was suddenly stopped by someone.
"Shi Sui".
Shi Sui quickened her pace, only to find that a classmate had just come out of the classroom and blocked her way.
Jiang Tianyao seized the opportunity to run up and block Shi Sui's way.
Shi Sui was speechless, her tone quite unfriendly: "You lost the bet with me, so according to the bet, get out."
Jiang Tianyao's eyes reddened, revealing her grievance: "Shi Sui, don't be like this..."
"What about me? You were the one who wanted to bet with me, and you're the one who lost. Shouldn't you get lost?"
Seeing a crowd of onlookers gathering in the corridor, Jiang Tianyao's eyes reddened even more. She looked at Shi Sui with concern and said, "Shi Sui, are you going home? Your parents and brother miss you very much. Your brother will come to pick us up this afternoon."
Shi Sui was stunned.
What's going on? She doesn't seem to understand what Jiang Tianyao is saying. Is she telling her to go back to the Jiang family?
Are you crazy? She beat the Crown Prince of the Jiang family like that, and you still allow her to return to the palace?
There must be a conspiracy.
Shi Sui's eyes darkened, and she asked, "Do you want me to go back and burn down the Jiang family's house?"
Jiang Tianyao was stunned. Setting a fire? At first glance it sounded like a joke, but coming from Shi Sui's mouth, it sounded so real.
Shi Sui is a real arsonist.
Jiang Tianyao realized this and felt a little flustered, but seeing the growing number of onlookers, she quickly came to her senses.
She blinked and said worriedly, "School accommodation is not as good as home. There are private drivers to pick you up and drop you off at school. Shi Sui, your family is very worried about you. Your parents are very concerned about you living alone at school."
"Damn it." Shi Sui couldn't help but swear, and if she didn't, she would hit someone.
But a voice drowned out hers.
"roll."
The boy's voice was cold, so cold it sent chills down one's spine, and the corridor fell silent in an instant.
With just that one simple word, Jiang Tianyao turned pale with fright, but she still mustered her courage and said with trembling lips, "Chi Yan, Gu Chenyi, he—"
She was certain that Gu Chenyi's disappearance was definitely related to Chi Yan!
Before she could finish speaking, someone disgustedly pinched a bit of her clothing with their thumb and forefinger and dragged her away without any pity.
Yan Ze: "Big sister, can't you hear me telling you to get lost?"
When Jiang Tianyao was taken away, she could no longer maintain her aggrieved and vulnerable expression; she looked terribly ugly.
