Chapter 155 Liu Yixin's Travelogue
Chapter 155 Liu Yixin's Travelogue
In the early morning, sunlight, like a golden veil, gently filtered through the hotel curtains and fell on Liu Yixin's face. Still half asleep, Liu Yixin was awakened by a cheerful and penetrating song: "When the sun comes out, I bask in the sun; when the moon comes out, I bask in the moon..." She sat up abruptly in bed, her eyes still sleepy, and exclaimed, "Sister Guli, are you starting a morning concert?"
Guli skipped and hopped into Liu Yixin's room, her big eyes sparkling with excitement: "Xinbao, wake up! Today we're going to Hongshan Park in Urumqi. They say you can see the whole city from there, it's so beautiful!"
Liu Yixin rubbed her eyes and smiled helplessly: "Sister Guli, you have more energy than a perpetual motion machine. I'm impressed."
After getting ready, the two took a taxi to Hongshan Park. Along the way, Guli, like a curious child, kept looking out the window, muttering, "The architectural style in Urumqi is so unique, unlike any other place I've been. Xinbao, look at that building, doesn't it look like a giant Rubik's Cube?"
Liu Yixin looked in the direction she was pointing and teased, "Sister Guli, with your imagination, it's a pity you're not an architect."
Upon arriving at the entrance of Hongshan Park, Guli put on oversized sunglasses, pulled her hat down low, and made sure to pull her mask up tightly: "I can't be recognized by the fans. Today, I just want to be an ordinary tourist and have fun."
Liu Yixin couldn't help but laugh out loud: "Sister Guli, with your gear, anyone who didn't know better would think you were going on some kind of secret mission."
As you enter the park, a refreshing breeze greets you, carrying with it a faint fragrance of flowers. Guli takes a deep breath: "Wow, this air is so fresh! It feels like every breath I take adds ten years to my life."
Liu Yixin replied with a smile, "Then Sister Guli, you should take a few more breaths; maybe it will make you look younger."
The two walked up the winding path, the lush trees along the way seeming to warmly welcome them. Guli suddenly stopped and pointed to a small bird in a tree, saying, "Xinbao, look at that little bird, isn't it singing to welcome us?" Liu Yixin laughed and teased, "Sister Guli, maybe it was attracted by your singing and wants to compete with you."
After finally reaching the top of the mountain, Guli excitedly ran to the viewing platform, hands on her hips: "Wow, the view is so beautiful! The whole of Urumqi is at my feet, I feel like a queen." Liu Yixin was also stunned by the beautiful scenery: "It's so beautiful, Guli, take a picture quickly, it would be a pity not to take pictures of such a beautiful view."
Just as Guli was posing for a photo, a little boy suddenly ran over, tugged at her clothes, and said, "Sister, are you Guli? I love the TV dramas you act in."
Guli smiled awkwardly and took off her sunglasses: "Little friend, you're really amazing, you recognized me even though I'm not a kid."
The child jumped up excitedly: "It really is you! Sister, can I get your autograph?"
Guli smiled and nodded: "Of course you can."
After signing autographs for the children, Guli said helplessly to Liu Yixin, "I wanted to have a quiet day out, but I still got caught."
Liu Yixin smiled and comforted her, "Sister Guli, this just means you're very popular. Fans have discerning eyes."
The two rested for a while at the summit before starting their descent. On the way down, Guli saw some for sale by the roadside, and her eyes lit up immediately: "Xinbao, I want to eat this!" Saying this, she ran over like a little child and bought two. Holding them, she happily ate them: "Wow, this tastes exactly the same as what I ate when I was little, it's so delicious!" Liu Yixin looked at Guli and said with a smile, "Sister Guli, the way you eat this is completely different from your image as a big star on stage; you're just a gluttonous little girl."
Guli waved her hand dismissively, "I don't need to pretend in front of you. I'm just someone who loves to eat and have fun." The two ate and chatted as they walked down the mountain, and before they knew it, they had arrived at the park entrance.
Guli said with lingering enjoyment, "We had so much fun today! Let's go somewhere else next time." Liu Yixin smiled and nodded, "Okay, Guli, wherever you want to go next time, I'll go with you." After saying that, the two smiled at each other and took a taxi back to the hotel. Although the day was short, every moment spent at Hongshan Park became one of their most cherished memories.
The filming location was on a picturesque grassland with rolling mountains in the distance. The grass was lush and green, dotted with wildflowers. As Liu Yixin did Guli's makeup, she couldn't help but steal glances at the beautiful scenery around her. "Sister Guli, do you think we're working or on vacation? This place is so beautiful."
Guli smiled and winked: "This is one of the perks of being a star! But the filming won't be so easy later. You'd better make me look beautiful, or the fans will say I got a tan on the grasslands!"
During a break in filming, Guli suggested, "We've come all this way, we can't just work, we have to have some fun too. Liu Yixin, where do you want to go?"
Liu Yixin's eyes lit up: "I want to ride a camel! I've heard that riding a camel in the desert is really fun!"
So, the group set off for the desert. Reaching the edge of the desert, Liu Yixin looked at the golden sand dunes and was as excited as a child. She eagerly climbed onto a camel, but as soon as she sat down, the camel suddenly stood up, startling her so much that she screamed, "Oh my god, how naughty this camel is!" Everyone around her burst into laughter.
Everyone was having a blast in the desert. Guli, completely unconcerned about her image, ran and rolled around on the dunes with everyone, sand covering her hair and clothes. Liu Yixin, while taking photos, laughed and said, "Guli, if your fans see this, your image will be completely ruined!"
Guli waved her hand dismissively: "It's just a little indulgence now and then, and this is the real me. My fans will definitely love it."
After their desert trip, they went to the bustling Grand Bazaar. The market was teeming with people, and a dazzling array of unique goods were on display. Liu Yixin, like a cheerful little bird, flitted between the stalls. She spotted a beautiful handmade rug and her eyes widened: "This is so beautiful! I want to bring one home!"
The shop owner enthusiastically introduced the carpet: "Young lady, this is the most authentic carpet from Xinjiang, hand-woven. I guarantee you'll love it."
While haggling with the shop owner, Liu Yixin turned to Guli and said, "Sister Guli, why don't you pick some out too, and take some back to give to your fans?"
Guli laughed and said, "You're more like a celebrity than I am, you know how to pick out gifts so well."
The few days of filming and sightseeing passed quickly. Liu Yixin's suitcase was filled with Xinjiang specialties, including raisins, naan bread, and various beautiful handicrafts. When leaving Xinjiang, she was still a little reluctant to leave: "I want to come back next time. This place is simply paradise on earth."
Upon arriving home, Liu Yixin dragged her heavy suitcase and shouted, "I'm home!" before even entering the door.
Father Liu Xuan was the first to rush out and take the suitcase: "My darling daughter, you're finally back. Dad has missed you so much."
Mother Li Yuan also came out of the kitchen, holding a spatula in her hand: "Let me see if you've gotten a tan."
Li Shiqing, the older sister, poked her head out of the room: "Oh, the great makeup artist is back! What delicious food did she bring?"
Liu Qicheng, the younger brother, threw himself into Liu Yixin's arms and said, "Sister, why did you take so long? I was so bored."
Liu Yixin smiled and took out the gifts one by one: "Look, these are Xinjiang raisins, they're so sweet; this is naan bread, it smells amazing; and this carpet, isn't it beautiful?"
The family sat together, enjoying Xinjiang cuisine and listening to Liu Yixin recount her interesting experiences in Xinjiang. Liu Yixin spoke animatedly, "When the camel stood up, I felt like I was going to fly away! Guli laughed at me for it."
Li Shiqing laughed and said, "You always make a fool of yourself, but it sounds kind of funny."
Liu Qicheng's eyes sparkled: "Sister, take me with you next time, I want to ride a camel too."
Liu Yixin pinched her younger brother's cheek: "Okay, next time there's a chance, let's go as a family."
Looking at the lively family, Li Yuan, the mother, smiled and said, "Yi Xin really broadened her horizons this time, and even brought back so many good things."
Father Liu Xuan nodded: "Yes, we should take more opportunities like this in the future to travel around."
It was late at night, and the family was still immersed in a joyful atmosphere. Liu Yixin lay in bed, reminiscing about her time in Xinjiang, her heart filled with happiness. This trip to Xinjiang not only allowed her to experience different customs and cultures, but also made her cherish the time spent with her family even more. She secretly thought that she must take her family to more places in the future and create more wonderful memories.
