Chapter 91 2nd Ring Wizard, Block Learning
Chapter 91 2nd Ring Wizard, Block Learning
An hour later, the two finally arrived at the headquarters of Turing Tower. Lin Wei followed closely behind Dora, his steps somewhat hurried.
"We're here. Junior Brother Lin Wei, you have amazing stamina. I'll take you to meet the teachers and Tower Master Robert first." Dora was in a good mood and smiled as she skipped ahead.
"Okay." Lin Wei returned to human form, nodded, and patted the dust off his body.
He was a little nervous, and his hands unconsciously rubbed the hem of his clothes.
Since arriving in the wizarding world, the female ghost Kardashian had been completely silent, as if she were dead. If Lin Wei hadn't been able to feel her heartbeat in her pocket, he would have thought something had happened to her.
"Don't be nervous, Junior Brother Lin Wei. The teachers and the Tower Master are all fine," Dora said with a smile, noticing his nervousness. She gently tugged at Lin Wei's sleeve.
As the two reached the bottom of the tower, many wizard apprentices passed by, eyeing Lin Wei with curiosity, while others greeted him.
Lin Wei frowned again as he noticed that they all had the remains of many sea beasts on them, and some of the wizard apprentices were covered in blood.
"Hello, Senior Sister Dora."
"Greetings, Senior Sister Dora."
"Senior Sister Doraemon, is this big guy the newcomer?" a wizard apprentice asked.
"Yes, Lin Wei, please introduce yourself." Dora turned around and said.
Looking at the curious faces, Lin Wei smiled and said, "Hello everyone, my name is Lin Wei, it's nice to meet you all." He had a friendly smile on his face.
"Hello, newcomer," a wizard apprentice greeted with a smile.
"Junior Brother Lin Wei, are you going down the melee wizard route? You're so strong." A wizard apprentice joked, patting Lin Wei's arm.
Lin Wei responded to each of them.
"Alright, Lin Wei is a great knight, his running speed is no slower than my magic broom." After saying that, Dora pulled Lin Wei into the tower, "I still need to take my junior brother to visit the tower master and the others, we can all get to know each other later."
"A knight? This is the first time I've ever heard of one. I've only ever heard of them in books before."
"Yes, they sound quite capable. I wonder what their wizarding talent is like, and why they chose our organization."
Watching the two figures disappear into the distance, the wizard apprentices continued their conversation.
Turing Tower isn't very well-known, so every time a new person comes, it becomes a topic of conversation.
"Senior sister, are those the remains of sea creatures that these people are carrying?" Lin Wei asked curiously as he entered a room that resembled an elevator, pointing to the remains on the back of a wizard apprentice next to him.
"Naturally, it's to earn Turing Points within the tower. Besides, we wizard apprentices have a fixed number of sea creatures to hunt each month. For example, I have to pay 200 catties of sea creature flesh every month. This is also called the sea creature tax. This is a task assigned by the Wizarding Committee. We wizards can't just be good at research and have knowledge; we can't fight if we don't know how." Dora explained, spreading her hands slightly as she spoke, her face serious.
"Turing integral?" Lin Wei continued to ask, tilting his head slightly, his eyes full of doubt.
"This is the currency of our Turing Tower, which can be exchanged for cultivation resources. We've reached the top of the tower; this is where the Tower Master usually lives. Follow me." Dora began to lead the way, her steps light and quick, turning back to call out to Lin Wei as she went.
……
This is a large room of several hundred square meters, filled with all sorts of bizarre building blocks—big and small, square and round, in all sorts of colors—like a fairytale kingdom. In the center of the room is a large desk with a middle-aged man sitting on it, surrounded by a row of building block soldiers—it's as strange as it gets. The walls are adorned with strange paintings, also depicting various building block shapes.
"Lord Tower Master, I've brought a newcomer to report for duty." Dora tied up her blonde hair and said politely, bowing slightly with a respectful expression on her face.
"Oh? The newcomer from the human world, come here quickly." The middle-aged man raised his head and looked over, his eyes filled with curiosity.
"Greetings, Tower Master. My name is Lin Wei."
Lin Wei stepped forward and introduced himself, straightening his back and looking serious.
A second-circle wizard, whose strength far surpassed that of Randolph, who had guided him, was the strongest person Lin Wei had encountered since his transmigration.
This was a somewhat kind middle-aged man with bright, piercing eyes who looked energetic. What surprised Lin Wei the most were his arms, which did not look like human arms, but rather like a pair of building blocks with patterns on them.
"My name is Robert, and I am the current tower master of the Turing Tower. I already know your information. Are you a mixed cultivator of the five elements? Or a knight?" The tower master was somewhat curious. He narrowed his eyes slightly and looked Lin Wei up and down.
"Yes," Lin Wei said with a smile, a confident expression on his face.
"Work hard. Even a hybrid of the five elements can become a wizard. As long as you're a wizard, you have the potential to create miracles." The tower master nodded. "By the way, would it be convenient for me to test your knightly skills?"
"Tower Master, Lin Wei is still a newcomer. He hasn't even practiced meditation yet," Dora reminded him, gently tugging at the Tower Master's sleeve with a worried expression on her face.
"I know, it's alright." Tower Master Robert smiled and looked at Lin Wei, his smile full of encouragement.
"Tower Master, I'm fine."
Lin Wei nodded. He hadn't expected that Robert, the tower master, a second-circle wizard and the master of the tower, would be so polite. He clenched his fist, his eyes resolute.
"Alright, fight it with your strongest abilities." Robert nodded and pointed to a block soldier next to him.
"And it? It's a building block." Lin Wei asked, frowning with a puzzled expression.
"I study building blocks, a relatively niche subject in the wizarding world, even more niche than your knightly path," Robert laughed. "I believe that building blocks are what give humanity eternal life, allowing us to exist alongside time."
Block design?
"This thing can be a subject?" Lin Wei was also astonished. He opened his mouth wide, looking completely surprised.
Robert pointed his finger at the block soldier, and a few seconds later, the soldier's eyes lit up, and it began to expand and grow taller, reaching a height of more than two meters, just like Lin Wei. It continued to expand until it was nearly four meters tall, at which point the blocks on its body made a "crackling" sound.
"This soldier is a little weaker than Doraemon; he's at the level of a second-class wizard apprentice. Give him a try," Robert said.
"Wow, is this the wizard's skill?" Lin Wei exclaimed in amazement. His eyes widened and his face showed a look of astonishment. He immediately transformed into the Silver Lion form, becoming a majestic silver lion-man over five meters tall. His aura and height completely overwhelmed the block soldier, and every strand of silver fur on his body stood up.
