My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

Chapter 696: You Finally Woke Up

Chapter 696: You Finally Woke Up

Wendy Lynch took out a newspaper and showed him the glaring scene on it."Don’t look." Melody Thorne moved her hand behind her back and reached for the crystal ashtray from behind.

Jared Quinn took the newspaper, glanced at it, and kicked Wendy Lynch several meters away in a rage. "Who gave you the guts to scheme against me?"

That kick made Wendy Lynch spit out blood, nearly fainting.

"Bang!" Melody Thorne threw the ashtray at Jared Quinn’s neck. The tall man turned around, eyes burning with flames that almost engulfed her.

"Sister-in-law!" Leon Rivers entered and karate-chopped the back of Jared Quinn’s neck, causing the tall man to faint.

"Are you okay, sister-in-law?"

"I’m fine," Melody Thorne said, looking at the unconscious man with heartache. She finally realized what Jared Quinn was truly afraid of—he couldn’t control himself.

He had hurt several people in a row!

Wendy Lynch got up from the ground, trying to leave, but Leon Rivers quickly had someone grab her.

Quinn Villa.

Leon Rivers treated Jared Quinn, whose body was covered in slender silver needles.

"Will he still be the same when he wakes up?" Melody Thorne asked worriedly.

"No," Leon Rivers stared at the clock on the wall. "We were careless this time. Hasn’t there been anything suspicious recently? It’s obvious his condition was triggered by someone with ill intentions."

"No," Melody Thorne shook her head, not recalling anything that could trigger Jared Quinn’s condition. They had been together every day recently.

Jared Quinn’s fingers moved slightly, and he opened his eyes, deep and clear.

"Bro, you’re finally awake," Leon Rivers immediately leaned over.

"What happened?" Jared Quinn’s eyes fixed on Leon Rivers as he slowly spoke.

"You had an episode, starting this morning, losing control and hurting several people in a row. Luckily, sister-in-law knocked you out, or who knows what might have happened next."

Jared Quinn’s eyes rose and fell rapidly, turning to look at Melody Thorne.

"I’m okay," Melody Thorne knew what he meant. "Timmy is also fine. You only hurt outsiders. I’ve already asked the butler to send Timmy back to the old house.

"Why didn’t you leave?"

"I don’t want to go." Melody Thorne turned away, not telling Jared Quinn about the moment he flung her away and then pulled her back into his arms, afraid to imagine what would have happened to their child if she had really been thrown aside.

"Have you forgotten what I said?" Jared Quinn stood up, his gaze touching the things on his body, his eyes shut tightly. It wasn’t just his body that was under control but also his mind!

"Bro, sister-in-law was scared today," Leon Rivers reminded, pulling out the needles from Jared Quinn’s body.

Jared Quinn looked over, his arms already holding her tightly, and softly apologized, "I’m sorry."

"Young Master, the Seymour Family is here," the butler knocked on the door.

Melody Thorne and Jared Quinn exchanged a glance and walked downstairs together.

Howard Seymour had always been concerned about his daughter’s safety, especially since he was here and quickly got the news. His face was so dark it seemed it could drip water.

Thinking about his daughter being around a man who could hurt her at any moment made him unable to rest easy in Crestfall. At the time, his face was not pleasant.

"Melody,"

Seeing them come down, Howard grabbed his daughter, pulling her to his side, and looked vigilantly at Jared Quinn.
